confused?
So I like this boy Kyle. But I don`t know if he likes me. He's really good friends with my cousin. When hes around me and my cousins not there, hes very nice. He like jokes around and says nice stuff and we talk on the phone for hours. Okay but hes completely different around me when my cousin is there. He says like mean stuff and like I know hes joking kinda but he just acts so different. Is maybe he being shy because he doesnt want my cousin to know he likes me or that were good friends? I know some guys are like that when theyre shy. Any help or advice would be great.

It's not so much that hes shy, but rather guys feel like they have to put up an act in front of their guy friends. They just like to seem macho or something, and cant appear "emotional" in front of other guys, or they might make fun of them. He definitely likes you, because guys don't normally spend that much time with a girl that they only want as a friend. Especially talking on the phone, cause guys dont do the whole phone thing, except with girls they either A. like, or B. are going out with. Try to ignore his stupid jokes, but if and when yall do end up going out, he needs to stop.

Ok its like this guys are always like that when they are around girls. Had it happen to me once, but the only difference was i was going out with him. Anyway this is about love! Yes he likes you it is so obvious he does. And when he is around your cousin he just doesnt want her to know thats all he doesnt mean it hes just being tough! When you are alone with him ask him why he does it and tell him you know hes joking but why is he that mean when he is with your cuz? He might even tell you he likes you!

he's probably trying to just act tough around you you could try talking to him and telling him that you don't like that and ask him to be his true self

If you really like him-and you want to go out with him- next time you're talking, hint to him that you want to go out...
I'm sure if you start going out- Kyle will be more confortable with telling your cousin...

Guys seem to be like that mostly when they're with their other guy friends.. normally to show off or because they like to keep it in private. I don't think it's any big deal or you should be worried or anything. But if it's bothering you, you should talk to him. No one knows if he likes you for sure but him.
