I have a problem, and my problem is my hair. It is WICKED frizzy, but when I tell people that they're like well mine's worse. HAHAHA I laugh at them because no one's hair is worse than mine. I can barely get a comb through it without tearing up and rip atleast 30 hairs out daily, unless I use my flat iron. My hair looks like someone electricuted me and then decided hell, let's give it another go. So I need help. Can anyone tell me what kinds of products they've tried that work really well (like creams and such) and also, what is the best flat iron out there (doesn't matter if it's $100-$800, let me know) I have a Vidal Sassoon one with the ceramic plates it works really good, but I want one that works even better. Thankyou guys so much, any advice that's given will be rewarded ;)

1.wash your hair with garnier fructis curl & shine
2.use the leave in conditioner
3.when you get out of the shower , put a towel around your head for about 5 minutes
4.then put ALOT of suave mousse in your hand and like rub it in your hair
5.put the towel on your hand to cover up your hand to 'scrunch' it with that so it gets moisture out
6.in about 30 minutes your hair wont b frizzy and it will look scrunched with out the crunchieness and like u used to much hair stuff
you might not understand this . sorry i have a hard time saying how to do it haha but sorry ♥ [ advice_babey's advice column | Ask advice_babey A Question ]
SoNuLiCiOuSsS answered Friday August 18 2006, 12:36 pm: I love the way you asked that question, very funny. Ne way... if you think a vidal sasson str8 iron is great and your hair really is as frizzy as you claim it is, than you will LOVE a hot tools str8 iron, and if you try a Chi str8 iron (which is a little more costly) than you would probably feel as if you have DIED and gone to heaven. Hair serum also works really well with frizzy hair. Try frizz ease or garnier. Also therma silk shampoo is supposed to be heat activated which works well for people that str8ten their hair. I also LOVE, Matrix, sleek look shampoo, it makes my hair so smooth and sliky! [ SoNuLiCiOuSsS's advice column | Ask SoNuLiCiOuSsS A Question ]
XlovelyladyO25 answered Friday August 18 2006, 12:13 am: used to have horrible frizzy hair. and everyone always told me not to brush it but i never belived them. but i finally tried just combing my hair through with my fingers instead of brushing it and it actraully makes a huge difference, and i barely have any frizz at all anymore. straightening your hair also makes it brake which could cuase more frizz. try using a ceramic one cus its less damaging. and try frizz ease hair serum that you could get at any drugstore. i hope i was able to help a little! FALL_0UT_B0ii_x33 answered Thursday August 17 2006, 6:13 pm: my hair is really frizzy too unless i straighten it! i have a revlon flat iron but i also saw on tv one that works soo good but it has like extremely hot combs instead of a flat iron..its hard to explain but any way. i say straighten it, but if you have curly hair, crunch it.
instructions:
1.) do this right after shower or if hair is litteraly soaking wet
2.)put gel and moose through-out your hair
3.)then use a wide comb and comb through it
4.)then crunch it (put hands at the ends and bunch up to the top of head and let it go
do repeatidly
5.)put hair spray in and your good to go!
xEVYx answered Thursday August 17 2006, 5:14 pm: When you use your flat iron it causes hairs to break because of the heat. So if you have any little hairs sticking up at the top thats what its from. BEFORE you straighten it, try VO5 Miracle Mist Heat Defense Conditioning Spray (about $4).
For a shampoo try Garnier Fructis Sleek and Shine.
It's for frizzy, dry, unmanageable hair.
And it might seem like alot but its normal to lose about 100-200 hairs a day.
laycieee answered Thursday August 17 2006, 11:54 am: Try using Herbal Essences None of Your Frizzness (it's a new product line) it works great, it really keeps down the frizz. They also have a leave-in cream to match, I also use their other product called Dangerously Straight Flat Out Finishing Spray (the flat iron spray) and it works amazing. For the flat iron I recommend using the Chi, they've gotten great reviews and they're around $100-$150. Hope I helped :) [ laycieee's advice column | Ask laycieee A Question ]
Notso answered Thursday August 17 2006, 3:32 am: The Chi for a flat iron, and Biosilk Silk Therapy. The silk therapy stuff works with your straightener to smooth your hair out, but works just fine if you don't straighten your hair.
Next time you brush your hair, wet or dry, spray a bit of detangler or leave in conditioner on the brush or your hair. The brush will do less damage and it will help smooth your hair. You also might want to try a moisturizing shampoo and conditioner, your hair sounds really dry. [ Notso's advice column | Ask Notso A Question ]
