Uhm,ok this is random advice, what do you guys think about it?
Even though It is normal for guys [and girls :s] to like porn, it doesn't necessaraly mean that it's right. Think of it this way, in Gods eyes does he think it would be correct to do something sinful, even though you have the total conscience and controle over your hormones.
Tulipg17 answered Thursday August 17 2006, 8:22 am: It's a matter of personal opinion. If you don't like it, then by all means don't view it but pron is something of an (unintentional) education tool in adolescent development and has been for decades. Although you can argue that it's "sinful" in that it promotes lust, honestly what doesn't promote lust? You could argue that teens sitting around discussing sex outside of marraige is just as sinful. So where do you draw the line? What IS ok for teens to learn what goes on with doing it themselves? In my opinion, there are far worse things to worry about in terms of sin. heatherniffer answered Wednesday August 16 2006, 11:07 pm: i dont know if porn is sinful. but when i was in church, they told me that porn can ruin your sex life when you are married. they (married people) said that sex really isnt like that and that the girls who make those videos dont like some of the things they do in the videos. so it gives the wrong idea about sex.
heres a bible verse: 1 corinthians 15:33
"Do not be mis-led: bad company corrupts good character"
i guess the bad company would be the porn. and it could corrupt your mind into thinking that pre-marital sex is okay. even though you may think that that would never happen. [ heatherniffer's advice column | Ask heatherniffer A Question ]
orphans answered Wednesday August 16 2006, 4:45 pm: I'm not really a fan of porn but my brothers look at it, most of my guys friends, and my ex bf. Even though I don't like it and refuse to look at it, I have to accept that they do because I really have no control over them. And plus, nowadays, so many people do things that are sinful and God wouldn't like (like how sex outside of marriage is now just a part of society).
If you think it's immoral and sinful, then stick to your beliefs. But you just have to realize that not everyone thinks that way and you can't change that. Sure, in God's eyes it's wrong but so many other things are as well. [ orphans's advice column | Ask orphans A Question ]
GateKeeper answered Wednesday August 16 2006, 4:40 pm: you see that is copletely what you believe, do what yo think. No one can tell you what god thinks but you and your heart, follow it. Do what you think is right. But remember, if God wanted people to be perfect don't you think he would have made us that way? Somtimes it's best not to deny what makes us human.

Mackenzie answered Wednesday August 16 2006, 3:57 pm: I am unsure of what you are asking. Are you seeking an opinion? Honestly, I like porn. I have always liked porn. Being that I don't put strong belief in much of anything, I do not presently concern myself with my afterlife. I figure as long as I am not hurting anybody, why not spend my days in search of the highest level of happiness that I possibly can? Even if that means the occassional adult film from time to time. ;) [ Mackenzie's advice column | Ask Mackenzie A Question ]
