friends
well my "friends" Audrey and Emily got involved with a teacher harrasing them and he only said he wants to have sex with me. Well this guy Nelson told everyone about the harasing thing and some a couple of people came up to me and asked me if I got harrased and i said "He just said some things to me but it was mostly Audrey and Emily" but the people are telling my friends that i spread the thing about the teacher and they are saying i said I was the one mostly involved but i didnt say that. so now all my friends think i am a liar and stuff but i didnt lie. and they wont believe me, and they dont want to talk to me..
How can i make them believe me? i basically have no one to hang out with at lunch now because theyre accusing me of something i didnt do. i even told them that if they were my true friends they would believe me and theyre like "We just dont believe you"
please help me...

Well, first of all, you need to report this teacher to somebody, anybody. He needs to be fired for doing what he's doing. What kind of teacher tells his students he wants to have sex with them? I mean, I know he didn't act upon any of it, but it's still very wrong on so many different levels. I would tell your parents or maybe even another teacher, whoever you feel comfortable with telling, and maybe [ if you don't want to be known ] write an anonymus letter to the principal and let them know what's going on.
With your friends, I would just tell them,"Look guys, you're my friends. I would never spread stuff around about you guys, including myself. And I would never say something like I was mostly involved, because I wasn't and I would never want to be involved in anything like this. It was that guy Nelson who told everyone. I know you guys might be angry or whatever with me, but I just want to let you know I wouldn't do that to you guys and I hope you'll believe me sooner or later because I would never want our friendship ruined." [ or something like that ] just let them know you care a great deal for them, and would never do anything to hurt them, especially spreading bad stuff like that around the school.
Because of this whole teacher situation, they probably feel very uncomfortable, and maybe they feel like they can't trust anybody [ because you should be able to trust your teachers ] and they should. It's a really messed up situation and I don't know how I would be able to handle it. But hopefully, they'll realize you're not lying to them and they'll make amends.

First of all, you are right. If they were your true friends they would believe you. But its a tricky situation and with everyone else who shouldn't be talking is, it gets hard to believe anyone. Trust me, I know...
What I think you should do is go up to them and say look, I don't care if you don't want to be friends with me, or if you don't believe me, but I have something to say. Obviously this happened to me to so I don't understand why you won't listen to me. Yes the teacher said something to me but its no one elses business, its a private thing and if I wanted to let everyone else know about it I'd be a jerk and scream it out loud. Does it look like I'm doing that, no. If we were friends you'd listen to me. I seriously don't want people to know that this happened to any of us, its embarressing and people are fake. So if you are going to listen to a bunch of idiots before one of your close friends go for it, be my guest. But I hope you know you guys are gonna feel like assholes when you find out I was telling you the truth.
Just say something like that. It makes them think hard, and really gets to them. Who cares if your by yourself, say it to them like that.. walk away like they don't phase you because you did NOTHING wrong. Just let it go, and when people see it doesn't bother you they will get bored of it.

first of all, either if they don't believe you they may not be your real friends or you need to march up to the person who spread the rumor and tell them to set things straight. and you need to make sure that they do.

The teacher is totally out of line for even suggesting he would like to have sex with you. Regardless of whether or not your friends believe you, your parents should know about the teacher so that they can take appropriate steps to protect you and other girls from this predator.
He needs to be disciplined at the highest level for abusing his position of trust. I suggest that you talk to your parents or another trusted adult. If you cannot face them then please tell the Headmaster/mistress of your school either by letter or directly to them.
I know this is a frightening thought but you must summon up the courage from somewhere before somebody gets hurt.
I agree that if your friends were "true" then they would believe you but unfortunately they do not. The best way forward from here would be to tell them again about the teacher and also tell them you must report what he has said.
