IKEA is an actual store. You can buy stuff online, too. Their furniture and home decoration stuff is really inexpensive and good quality.
CraigsList is a website where people post what they want to sell, like lamps or a TV. It isn't like eBay because you don't bid on stuff, you just ask if the stuff is still available and when you can pick it up from their house. Once you go to the website, look on the right to select your city and/or state. Then type in what you want. Generally things are 40-80% cheaper than they are worth because they were slightly used. Anyways, just use CraigsList to find rugs, lamps, picture frames, whatever.

And yeah what that person said about putting pics of your friendss up, thats a good idea too plus it looks really cool cuz you can arrange them however you want. Mix and match make it funky :]

Hanging lights are also good to line a wall with, you can find them at most K Marts.
