lately it seems like ive been messing up alot..especially with the decisions i have been making. so in like mid-summer there was this kid that broke up with his girlfriend but was still in love with her and everyone knew it-even me. he treats her like a queen and loves her with everything he had and she treated him like shit and took advantage of him and cheated on him and everything! so there parents made them break up because of something that happened. well i talked to this kid here and there not much because i didnt know him well but he was kinda friends with my cousin nick. so all of a sudden he i/m me one night on the computer and started talking to me and hes like can i call you? and im like uhh sure thinking what are we going to talk about it will be awkard. well he calls me and then hes like remember that one time that i saw you in the window at nicks and you were pounding on it and waved at me and i was like haha yeah that was weird but i didnt know if you would remember me. and hes like how could i ever forget you? and hes like when i was over at ross's (my cousins neighbor) and i saw you walk out of your car and you talked to ross i was like damn that girl is so beautiful. he was like so sweet and we were talking about some gang thing and hes like i want to be in one and im like noo! you can die in those. and im like i dont like talking about this im scared of death and im like well would you ever miss me if i died tomorrow and hes like of course because then i wouldnt have a cool beautiful girl to talk to. we ended up talking for 2 hours that night and it was the weirdest thing ever because i didnt talk to him much. bad thing is he is 2 years younger than me =( and then i was like yeah well i dont think i should like start "talking to you" in a relationship kinda way since i know you love your "EX" girlfriend still. so that kinda died and i regret not getting to know him better because he treats girls so nice and ME! but now him and his ex gf are going back out like i knew they would and everytime i see him im like damn that probably could of been mine. is this because now i know i cant have him that i want him or what? its just ive been regretting these kinda things alot lately... and now me and him really dont talk at all anymore..it sucks! what can i do? ive been really upset about all of this lately and i have no idea why.

If he really is the nice guy you make him sound like then you should try talking to him and telling him all this. Just be there for him..sometimes best friends mean more than boy/girl friends. That way when he has trouble with his GF he can come to you and stuff. Just work on being best friends first and you never know what might happen after that.
