14/f i'm scared to try tampons again and its not because im scared they will hurt or anything because the last time i used them (when i was 13) i couldnt feel anything. anyways when i was 13 i was wearing a tampon and i was supposed to change it at 4 or something and i totally forgot and i ended up changing it at 6. its just that whenever i wear them i always forget to change them because i can't feel the tampon inside of me and im scared because i dont wanna get TSS or anything. can somebody please help me on how to change them sooner? thanks soo much
Nallie answered Sunday August 13 2006, 9:36 pm: Once you get into a routine, it will be easier. Think of it in terms of Before school, at lunch, and after school, and before bedtime. xojessii answered Sunday August 13 2006, 9:00 pm: You could just write a big 4 on your hand, you don't have to write "Change Tampon at Four!".
Or just make it apart of your schedule like at school. Change it during before or after a certain period in the day and then when you get home or something like that.

Now, I can't say that you won't get TSS, because there is always that little percent that you can. And writing on your hand, "Change tampon @ 4!!", isnt the best idea either, so this is a hard one to answer. Have a family or friend that you trust to help you remember.
