Ok i made my boyfriend promise that we wouldn't do anything sexual anymore. And he said that he promised. He even promised that he would stop me in the case that I came on to him. But yesturday he was playing with me and tried to have sex with me and I pushed him away but he kept coming at me. Now I don't know what to do because..it really hurts me that he finally seemed like he made a promise that was worth while. Does he even love me. We have been going out for almost 10 months now...
Additional info, added Wednesday August 9 2006, 7:31 am: Ok and we decided to do this because we wanted to wait until we both had a stable career..incase any accidents happen.:/. Vikki27 answered Wednesday August 9 2006, 5:13 pm: It is quite possible that he does still love you, but not respecting your wishes is extremely poor behaviour from someone you need to be able to trust completely.
Try to talk to him about this. You need to explain to him that you were hurt by his actions, as he had promised you that there would be nothing sexual in your relationship for the time being. See what he says to this. If he says he just got a little too caught up in the moment then it might be worth giving him a second chance, on the understanding that he realises no means no. Not stopping at the agreed point shows a huge lack of respect for you as a person and as a woman and he needs to realise that.
Talk it over and see if he is still willing to abide by his promise. If he doesn't think he can do this, or if things get out of hand again, as much as you care about him and as much as I don't want to say this, you might need to consider whether you want to stay in the relationship. you should sit him down and tell him that what he did was not okay and that if he wants to be with you he has to respect you and what you want and don't want.

JBAR answered Tuesday August 8 2006, 7:41 pm: Well, I think he loves you, making a promise was a start. Though he did break the promise, give him another chance, maybe he forgot that day, or he was just even more attracted to you at the moment. Wait it out a while, & if he continues to try & be sexual & you're not into it, then I say leave him. If he can't listen to one thing you asked him not to do, then he can't listen to much.
