Confused
I`m supposed to be the advice GIVER, not RECEIVER. . .right? Then why am i so confused? School is about to start and i am in a class called "Publications" which means i write the school newspaper and do the yearbook. I am NOT a dork . . . i am actually pretty popular. But a lot of people think it`s a pathetic class. should i drop out and be in study hall, or stay in? I`m so confused.

You should do what YOU want, not what everyone else wants. You have to be true to yourself. I don't think it's a pathetic class at all. What's gonna look better on a college application..."Study Hall" or "Publications?"

Don't be forced to do something you don't want to do. If you really like this class, stick with it. Don't be peer pressured into something you don't want to do. If your friends think you are a loser for joining the class they don't seem to be very good friends. Don't give up on your interests just because they are NOT in style. Besides you will meet new people in this class, who have similar interests. Best Wishes!

If you like the class, stay with it. Don't drop out & miss out on something because other people find it dorky. Who are they to judge? I'd stay with it. Who cares what people think?

Do what you want to do, if people think it's stupid then thats great for them, they dont have to do it, and the people who do care if you're doin that dont matter, so i say, just flow with it and have a good time, dont take life to seriously, you'll never make it out alive

well that class sounds pretty interesting. I would say if you like that class and you enjoy it than go ahead and do it. dont just quit because your friends say it it stupid... do what you want.

Who cares if other people don't like it? They're not the ones taking the class. If you want to take it and it's something you'd like, stay in it. If you really don't want to be in it even if other people did, then don't do it. Make your own decisions, don't have other people make them for you.

If you do the class, don't let others opinion change you. I didn't get yearbook class in high school (not because it was nerdy but because I heard your grade depended on selling) and I completely regret it. I think I would have had a chance at becoming editor-in-chief and making my senior yearbook ten times better than it was...and hey now..I'll never know.

ok if you really like the class then stay in it and if someone says somethin to you about it be like would you rather have a dork do the newpaper and the yearbook or someone that is creative and knows what htere doing and i like the class
