what is the right way to shave the vaginal area? becuase some people have said shave in the way the hair goes...so like down i guess? but then the area isnt smooth. so then if you shave the other way you can get cut and really bad razor burn? is there any way to get it smooth with out any or little razor burn?
other, wise, make sure your hair down there is short, and just shhave. i think personally its better to go the opposite way, but some prefer to go in the same direction [ orphans's advice column | Ask orphans A Question ]
itsz_JESS answered Monday August 7 2006, 12:33 pm: well what i do is shave it sideways caues i found out that it doesnt hurt as much as going up and if its still not smooth then try going up ..it wont hurt as much though because you shaved most of it off when you went sideways and the hair will be shorter [ itsz_JESS's advice column | Ask itsz_JESS A Question ]
laycieee answered Monday August 7 2006, 10:46 am: AHH don't use nair, it burns. I suggest using a tiny machine called Bikini Touch, the painless hair remover. Basically there are two different blades to it, one is the regular blade where you can cut all of the hair off with no razor burn or red bumps and the second is a tiny head you put on it so it only trims the hair, and trust me besides waxing this really is the best thing to use instead of shaving. But if you are going to shave, then you're supposed to shave in the direction in which the hair is growing (so yea, down), but personally I don't like to shave it with a razor because sometimes it's painful and either way you get little bumps. If you want to buy Bikini Touch, Walgreens sells them cheap for $5.00, you can order it online so you don't have to go to the store either. Hope I helped :) [ laycieee's advice column | Ask laycieee A Question ]

LouellaWalters26 answered Monday August 7 2006, 2:02 am: OK, well I think the way I do it is pretty cool. First off, if it's "really bad" (if ya know what I mean), you'll want to start off with an electric razor, just to get the bulk of it. Then, you get this stuff called, Veet. It is a hair removal cream that comes with a bladeless razor! Just read the directions. It makes it very smooth. Just remember to follow up with a non scented lotion, like, Aveeno. Good Luck!
