Just get a password on your computer. Also just tell her to back off a little in a nice way tell her you want your own privacy. If she still does it don't talk to her then when she asks what's wrong tell her. ♥

Get her at her own game. Get a small notebook and write on the front "KATIE'S DIARY ~*~*~DO NOT TOUCH~*~*~* on the first page of this notebook write... DEAR MOM, THE FRONT OF THIS BOOK SAID NOT TO TOUCH, BUT YET YOU DID. THESE ARE MY ***PERSONAL*** THOUGHTS. IF I WANTED YOU TO KNOW THEM, I WOULD OF TOLD YOU. I DON'T GO SNOOPING AROUND IN YOUR STUFF. I DONT ASK FOR ALOT, BUT I DO WANT A LITTLE BIT OF PRIVACY. IF YOU WANT TO CONTINUE TO BE SO NOSEY, I'LL JUST LEAVE THE BATHROOM DOOR OPEN WHEN I GO TO USE IT, THAT WAY...YOU WON'T MISS NOTHING."

LOL. This should do the trick. If she's not a snoop, she'll never read it....but if she is like you say...you have now got her at her own game. Leave this notebook laying around somewhere that you know for certain she will see it.

You need to let her know, plain and simple that you need your own space. Tell her to trust you, because it's worse for her to constantly pressure you, chances are at this rate you'll want to revolt and do something she wouldn't approve of. Maybe to ease her anxiety, you should tell her that you know you can come to her in times of trouble and you will tell her things (and yes I only mean deeply deeply important things). But your mom needs to remember, this is your life and she can't live it for you. If she does not allow you to make mistakes, you will never grow.

Good Luck.

well if you share a computer, get a password for your account. i have yahoo email... its easy to make an account on there so what i do is if i want to save a conversation on aim, i copy it on there and save it as a draft. that or make a private xanga. if you have a diary, make up a language or write hints but no names or incriminating info if you can't hide it well enough. if you get notes from people, type them up and save them somewhere safe or save them in a box that she wont find. goodluck! <3
