BLONDShorty answered Tuesday August 1 2006, 9:55 pm: well in my school we take the psat in sophmore and junior year and the sat's in senior year. it is a standardized test that that tests you on your skills in different subjects and is sent to the colleages that you apply to. your sat scores are very important but at the same time, there is nothing to sweat. from my understanding they are just common sense questions

orphans answered Tuesday August 1 2006, 8:15 pm: You take the PSAT your sophomore and/or junior year and your SAT your junior or senior year. Most people take PSATs junior year but I took my PSAT sophomore year and I'm taking it again my junior year before I take the real SATs. It's over Math, Critical Reading, and Writing. It used to be just Math and writting, I think, and the perfect score would be 800 on math and 800 on reading (1600 together). But now there are 3 sections at 800 each so the new perfect score is 2400. [ orphans's advice column | Ask orphans A Question ]
