Additional info, added Wednesday August 2 2006, 11:36 am: but isnt AP for people who want to do well in a particular subject that relates to what they might be doing in the future?
orphans answered Tuesday August 1 2006, 8:18 pm: The big difference in AP is that you do most of the work on your own and go into much more detail. More so than honors classes. English AP isn't that bad at all but things like History can be extremely hard (in my opinion anyway). If you decide to take an AP class you need to be dedicated and work hard. AP classes are great for college applications because it shows that you are willing to push yourself to the limit and show your committment to achieving academically. it's great preparation! good luck if you're planning to take AP classes!
