I have no money.

Question Posted Saturday July 29 2006, 7:20 pm

Hello; I'm 14 and I have no money.
I need a job since my parents don't provide me with enough money to get food when I am out.

I need to know what kinds of jobs besides baby sitting I can get at 14.

Okay, the other people said that you can bag groceries at grocery stores, but that isn't true where i live. You have to be 16 to do that. The only job a 14 year old can get is a fast food restaurant job, unless you have a family business or something, which sounds like you dont. You can also try dog walking, asking neighbors if they need some work done that you could do, that kind of thing. i hope ihelped.

You can't really get any good jobs since your so young, but I'm pretty sure you could try working at fast food restaurants like Dairy Queen and things like that. Also, you could work at a grocery store and bag the food and stuff. You'll get paid minimum wage of course, but you'll make enough money to feed yourself.

Hope I helped.

You can probably work at grocery stores. I heard minimum age is 14 years old. A lot of places can offer jobs for people your age, as long as you have a work permit (papers that give you written permission from your school and parents) to legally work.

Hm..well there's lifeguarding, I mean not actual life guarding but like working at the pool. and what I'm doing when I turn 14 (5 Days! I'm so exccited! haha sorry.) Is helping out at this retirement center. YTou could dog/cat sit. People surprisingly pay a lot of money for that. You could like watch your friends dog while they go on vacation or something. I watched a dog for 2 days and got $24! I was so excited!! haha! And it really depends on where you live because I know this girl whose 14 and she lives somewhere out west (I'm on the east coast, northern virginia.) and she works at an amusement park! so you really just have to look around and ask around. Good Luck with getting some money!
