so i've been going out w/ this guy for a couple weeks. i love being w/ him.. we always have so much fun. we talk on the phone a lot but it's usually about what we did that day or how much we like each other. i want to get to know him better w/o being like.. "whats your fave. food, etc.". how should i do this? i come from a past relationship where i knew the guy better than anyone so this is whati want.

Then ask him what place he's interested in eating or what movie he wants to see. Notice his sense of humor, or love for action movies. Notice what he orders & how he treats people around him. Start conversations about what he likes to do & his plans after high school or in the future. I know it sounds corny, but these conversations can be brought up easier than you think. & eventually, you can learn more than about his personality & the type of person he is. And if you really want to know something harder to bring up, just say it. It may be a little random, but it shouldn't be weird to him. Most people like talking about themself. & if he asks, just tell him you're really interested in him & want to get to know him even more. :) [ hannahd's advice column | Ask hannahd A Question ]
