GETTING MY PERIOD THE DAY OF A CONCERT??

Question Posted Friday July 21 2006, 10:57 pm

Okay, so my period is suppose to come a day before this really big concert I'm going to. I don't know what the hell to do because I won't be able to change my tampon/pad from 12pm to 11pm! I''ll be stuck in a mosh pit and wont wanna lose my spot in the general admission and there are no bathrooms!
HELP!

(pills are not an option)

i Would wear your normal size tampon then the biggest pad you can find.. im sure you will have to go to the bathroom or eat or something atleast once and that time and i would remove you tampon then and you should be fine

Well when you first get you period its not to havey(for me atleast) its normally pretty light. If you just use a good pad then it should beokay. Deff. dont wear a tampon for that long its dangerous. And you never know maybe you will get lucky and it wont come.

Just wear an overnight pad. No risk of getting TSS so you wont have to worry about it and it soaks up more than a normal pad. But Im sure they would have bathrooms somewhere so bring extra tampons/pads just in case.

I know 11 hours sounds like too long to wear a tampon, but I think you should be okay unless your period is really heavy. Try wearing a low absorbancy tampon (the lower absorbancy, the lower risk there is of getting TSS.. meaning you can wear it longer) & an overnight pad as well.

There's no way they are holding a huge concert that long without any bathrooms. I'm sure there'll be port-o-potties somewhere. If so, just carry an extra tampon with you.

I know it will be verry uncomforatble, but Just wear a pad. You dont HAVE to change those and you dont have to risk your health wearing them. Hope I have helped you :]

don't wear a tampon just because of the dangers of having it in too long. hopefully, it will be light. if not, it may cause a problem. try wearing really thick pads (they may feel like diapers, but if it's heavy, that's what you gotta do unfortunetley) and dark colored bottoms just in case. good luck
