Pepsie and Food?

Question Posted Thursday July 20 2006, 8:36 pm

If you don't eat anything (except maybe a few grapes or something) but only drink like, sodas, would you gain weight or lose weight?
I've always wondered this, and I asked my health teacher, and he didn't know. I know its not health, lol, I'm not planning no doing it, I've just always been curious.

it would force your body to gain weight and store as nutrients because you would be starving yourself of nutrients such as vitamins and minerals essential for a body functioning properly daily. also you would be dehydrated beyond recogniton.

Well, It really depends on how many sodas you drink, or if you would exersize. But If you drank 10-30 sodas you would gain weight, if they weren't diet sodas. Hope I helped.

I've been there, done that. You'll lose weight at first, but eventually your metabolism will slow down so much that you will start gaining everything you eat -- no matter how small or large the meal is. Soda obviously isn't very healthy for you in the first place. You'll gain weight from the sugar just by drinking that alone. If you drink soda regulary, cutting it out of your diet completely (& replacing it with water), you are guaranteed to lose 5-10+ lbs within a couple weeks.

Hey!
Drinking soda no matter what is bad for you. It causes all teeth problems and digestion and not to mention it is loaded with sugary crap. But I still love them!! haha. but so drinking soda isn't good for you.
But if you hade hardly any food *under 1000 calories--- even 500... just hardly any calories* you would start to lose weight. But lots of that weight is muscle. So if you could benchpress 100, after a while you might only be able to put up 60.
Oh yeah. Also, your body needs protiene. So if you dont eat things like meat or take vitamens *man, i wish i could spell!* You're going to lose most of your muscle.
Hope this helps!
And NEVER do that!! =]

It would depend on what you were eating before you started this eating plan on whether or not you lost or gained. If you ate really really bad like junk all the time and almost no healthy food you would probably lose weight at first, but only drinking soda would rot out your insides and probably cause serious health issues.

Hope this helped.
