I just got my tongue pierced. I have these 2 white veins under my tongue. They lead to the tip of it. The one is like hurting and it feels like something is being pulled or something. Its very uncomfy. it feels like if i stretch it or something it will snap and wont be as tight? Its weird. I dunno if this is normal and its just a nerve or what?
Someone please explain? Is it normal? help?

Before the piercer pierces you're tongue, he/she should look out for veins. If they ever hit a vein, I believe you & the piercer would know right away. So as far as the veins go, you should be fine. The first few days are a hassle. It's going to swell, it's going to hurt, you won't be able to eat easily, it'll be hard to talk, & it'll feel like it's really tight. But after those days go by, you'll get used to it. Within the next week or two, it'll be so normal, you'll be able to move it around & you'll forget you have it. To help the swelling, suck on some popsicles & take Ibuprofen. [ hannahd's advice column | Ask hannahd A Question ]

The best thing I can say is that you should contact the place where you had your piercing done, either by phone or stopping by. Accually, stopping by so they can see what you are talking about would probably be the best of the two. They know ALL about your piercing and what can happen, and if it's something of concern or not.
Also, if it's uncomfortable and has been more than 2 weeks since you had it pierced, you may need to go to your family doctor, or find a piercing-friendly doctor. [ Brandi_S's advice column | Ask Brandi_S A Question ]
