Melody answered Wednesday July 19 2006, 1:45 pm: You can get pregnant at anytime. However there are moments in a woman's cycle when she is less fertile than usual. Some people use a thing called natural birth control to keep from getting pregnant. They go to a doctor, and the doctor gives them a string of beads (representing their cycyle) to let them no when they are the most fertile or when they are the least. Most women use this method as a way of getting pregnant to. (ie. they have sex when they are most fertile on the bead) Anyways, your period is nothing but dead eggs, meaning that you are less likely to get pregnant. Less likely being key word here. You can still get pregnant, but it's unlikely. [ Melody's advice column | Ask Melody A Question ]
orphans answered Wednesday July 19 2006, 8:04 am: you cant get pregnant during your period, because thats when the egg is leaving the body, so unless the sperm can like like 6 days, than there is a chance, but normally, they onlycan live up to two days, so chances are, you wont get pregnant [ orphans's advice column | Ask orphans A Question ]

If you are sexually active, always protect yourself against pregnancy and sexually transmitted diseases. [ Brandi_S's advice column | Ask Brandi_S A Question ]
