im EXTREMELY selfconcious!

everytime i am around people, im constantly looking in mirrors and if i see a major flaw i cant have as much fun the rest of the time im with them if i know i cant fix it right then! also when i dont have makeup on or it rubs off because of sweat, im embarassed and dont want guys to look at me and i kinda sit there staring into space. i also look in my reflection into car windows when im walking to my boyfriends house..and its gotten so bad that last week i saw my reflection and realized my makeup looked orange so i ran back home and told him i could hang out anymore!! how do i stop obsessing over looking bad? well.. ANY advice on this topic will be appreciated!

You ar probably a really beautiful girl you are just at a time in life that you need to look pretty in front of everyone. Just think some kids are out there and they have braces and glasses and are over weight and nobobdy likes them. I bet that isnt you, I bet if you have a boyfriend you have alot of friends. No dumping your boyfriend was a little out of hand because you wouldnt be going out if he thought yo were ugly and looks dont matter. He liked what was on the inside, love, a pretty smile, a pretty laugh,a great girl. You just don't see that in your self yet. But other people do. Just give it time and if this doenst pass in a bout a year then yu e-mail me back. And I will definately be able to help you.

You'd be suprised how little others think of the way you look. Just feel good about yourself, dress comfortably, and in all honesty, guys don't really go for all the makup, maybe lipstick but don't put on a lot. Just be yourself. Try not to think about how you look just hangout and be happy keep a smile on your face, trust me, noone is judging you.

well. i say you should just one day walk outside. not dressed up. wear a litttle eye liner. dont really match your clothes all that well. but make them comfortable. try it out. see if you like it better. cus think about it, if you dont care about what other people think. youre bound to have more fun.

okay.
this may have NOTHING to do with you.
but i recently read something in a magazine about a thing called 'bdd'.
where you constantly over obsess about the way you look.
to the breaking point, of not leaving the house.
& you can't focus on anything else.
i'm not saying you have it.
and i'm not accusing you.
it just sounds like 'bdd' in an early stage.
but maybe you should read up on it, just in case.

but to help you stop.
when people compliment you, take it in.
even compliment yourself.
each day, tell yourself something you see that you like.
&
try to stop yourself from looking in those mirrors.
maybe even cover mirrors when you don't NEED them.
