hey- okay so i am a 15 year old girl and im gonna be a sophomore and i have liked this boy for a while now about since february. we were really cute until at the end of march i did something that hurt him and even though we were hardly together, we both got mad at eachother and that spread us apart and make us afraid of the future, now after a while we are so cute and so strong except that we fight alot and he is very shy..what can i do to stop the arguments and help him to open up a little to me because i like him alot!? thank you!
=)
However, the best thing to do in situations such as yours is to open the lines of communication. Rather than talking through your problems, you are both bottling them up and lashing out at each other.
What you need to do is have an agreement that if either of you is upset with the other for some reason or another, you sit down and discuss it until it has been talked through. There can be NO shouting or swearing or otherwise aggressive behaviour because that will make it worse. Once you have worked through some of your problems, you should find things get better. Say that again.. and say that you do really like him & that this really hurts the relationship. Plus dont let little things bother you. To make him open up i would def. just start opening up to him .. even more then what your probably already doing. Tell him what he means to you, and it'll make him feel more comfortable.
Hopefully that helps :] Good Luck [ BEAUTiFUL_LOVEx's advice column | Ask BEAUTiFUL_LOVEx A Question ]
jacksizzle answered Wednesday July 12 2006, 3:36 pm: for arguments, its best just to start new. So just forget everything that happened and act like its a new relationship. Be more enthuestic (how the hell do you spell that word??) about the relationship and do more romantic things ya know that usually helps to pass the bad times. As for being shy, I think some guys are more open when its just two person alone, some are more open when more ppl are present, so try to figure out with he is and accomadate him. But for the most part i think as he begins to trust you more and grow more confortable the whole shy phase would pass. [ jacksizzle's advice column | Ask jacksizzle A Question ]
GateKeeper answered Wednesday July 12 2006, 2:55 pm: Ok, now myself and in a relation ship and havebeen hurt before so i can understand your bf's(?) position, he's scared and thesse arguments are simply him expressing his fear, rather than fighting back, embrace him, understand why he is freaking out and help, take away his fears, because no matter how much you and him like or love each other a relationship where you fight often will not last long, you most help his fears and insecurities in the relationship before anything.
GoodLuck
