I can't log in!

Question Posted Wednesday July 5 2006, 11:59 pm

I am getting frustrated, because I have made a user name/password and when I try to log in it says that it's an invalid user name/password. I know it isn't invalid! So I created another one, and I get the same thing. This time I wrote down the password, so I know it's not me! Now everytime I try to login, I have to say I forgot my password. Then I get an email with a new password...quite annoying...why is it doing this??? Thanks for your help!

Dear I can't log in!,
I believe that it isnt the computer. Maybe you are spelling things wrong and have the wrong password. I dont know but as long as you have a way to get in then dont complain.

Hello there,

Make sure nothing is blocking your browser from being able to accept cookies.

A firewall, or your browser settings may be blocking cookies.

Without the ability to store the log-in info in a cookie, you will constantly be logged out.

Things like Norton Internet Security, NetGuard, etc, can play hell with your ability to use websites if they are configured incorrectly.

Also make sure that you are using a standard browser such as FireFox or Internet Explorer.

The fastest way to find out if it is a browser issue, is to install another browser and try accessing the site that way.

The default AOL browser is pretty terrible for most things, so if you happen to be using that, you should change to a better browser anyway.

If you try this in multiple browsers and you still have trouble, turn off your firewall or security software and see if you can log-in.

If, after that, you cannot log-in, then e-mail me at: dangernerd@gmail.com and we will go from there.

DN.
