I got a 22 on the ACT. Yes, it was my first time. Yes, I know I can take it again. Yes, I know I can take practice tests. I just want to know what other people got on thier ACT their first try. Because in my mind a 22 out of 36 is 61% and that isn't very good.
a 22 is actually good even though it seems like you only got 61%. within each section there are some questions that are worth more than others. in the writing section the rhetorical skills questions are worth more than basic grammar. I would consider obtaining my test booklet if you still can just to look over what types of questions you got wrong. if you're really into it, consider taking tons of practice exams and retaking it. really though, a 22 is good. I can also tell you that the average for Havard entrees is 32-36 and New York University is 28-32. [ CavieOwnsU2's advice column | Ask CavieOwnsU2 A Question ]
