my boyfriend gave me genital herpes and I asked him to go get checked out and he pretended to get checked out. I asked him over and over did he get checked out and he finally said that he didn't go. And he keeps saying that he didn't give me the STD, but I know he did. What do I do?

In my honest opinion, if he doesn't believe you got it from him, and won't even go get checked, he isn't worth your time. He gave you an STD that you'll have forever. I'm going threw the same thing, and it's hard, but, it's better if he isn't in your life. Me and my, now ex boyfriend broke up, and things are getting better. It'll be hard at first, but, it'll probably be for the best. You don't need someone who isn't going to trust what you know for a fact is true. But, just do what you feel is right, and I'm here if you need anything else. Feel free to message me anytime with any questions you may have. I'm always here and happy to help! Good luck, and I hope things work out! [ xmcrgirl5x's advice column | Ask xmcrgirl5x A Question ]

He's probably just scared to know. If he doesn't care enough about your health to find out though, then maybe you shouldn't date him. If you know he gave it to you, that's all that matters. If you are uncertain, then that is a different story. Even then though, you can't make him do what he doesn't want to do. [ TheFool's advice column | Ask TheFool A Question ]
