Question Posted Friday June 30 2006, 7:57 pm

Bleh. Okay. So I sweat. And I know that everyone sweats but like, it's disgusting and it looks like someone poured water on my shirt. Every deodorant with antipersperant that I've tried does nothing. It's really embarassing and now that it's summer it's really hott so it's even worse. It makes me really self concious and I'm scared to wear bright colored shirts because it'll show up even more. But when I wear all black so it won't show up I get called gothic or emo! =[

help!

You can get Botox in the places where you sweat the most, but it hurts and is very expensive. There is a deoderant called Certain-Dri. Get that, if you havn't tryed it. Its like the best deoderant they make and its made for people with your problem. =]

I had the same exact problem. Go to a dermotologist that specializes in sweating. You'll be put on a really strong anti perspirent first (20 times stronger than certain dri) It caused my to itch at night and didn't really work so he put me on the next thing which is a pill. You take it 1-3 times daily as need and MY GOD, it's amazing. Seriously. It's quiet expensive though, so don't bother using it on days you don't go out. - Meg

Eh, my friend had that and last I heard she said she was getting some kind of surgery. Alot of times people will keep their arms close to there body, you know to like not show your armpits.. but it seems like that would make you sweat more. Let your arms breath & stuff.. I don't know. Hope I helped. Emo= cool. Gothic= not cool. Also, you could wear black shirts with neon stuff on it or bright pants or those big necklaces, something to get the attention away from the black.

Hm. Drink lots of water! And instead of wearing tee shirts which rub against your underarms and stuff, try wearing tank tops or wifebeaters. A lot cooler for summer! Try wearing your hair up more often. If you have dark, thick hair (like me), you probably get hot faster because dark colors attract the sun. So if you wear your hair up off your neck, dark hair or not, it should cool you down some. :) i hope this helps!!
