It fills you up and kills the hunger. Remember to count the calories in all the food you eat. Try to remain to a diet that is less than 1200 calories daily. abbyxoxo answered Friday June 30 2006, 9:08 pm: hi, i think you should loose weight in a healthy way. and dont be intimidated by those thin people, just be worried about your health mostly, and then worry about your looks. i have found a way to take care of both at the same time. make up a work out schedule first. you can do sit ups and push ups, or you can go jogging, or all of it. then you need to eat healthy, dont be afraid to cheat if youve been really good, but please dont go all out, i know how you feel, i have a little bit of extra baggage in the trunk, lol, especially with it being summertime. eat lots of fruits and vegetables, and there are alot of healthy foods out there that are actually pretty good... you dont have to do the low carb thing if you dont want to, but if you want to, you can, i tried but it didnt work out so good. anyway, its pretty simple, just follow what i said and you should be pretty good by october. i hope my advice works for you, just stay active. ---abby =] [ abbyxoxo's advice column | Ask abbyxoxo A Question ]
cinderelly answered Friday June 30 2006, 6:57 pm: well, i've tried several things to lose weight. At one point I became a vegetarian, which was a mistake because I wasn't getting enough protein to maintain my diet. My suggestions for you, are just to cut out junk food completely, drink lots of water (Instead of getting soda or juice, get water or even flavored water instead). Try eating three small meals a day and a few snacks:
Meal one: Breakfast! It can be simple, a bowl of whole grain cereal and an apple, or whole wheat toast and a banana.
Snack: A granola bar instead of a chocolate bar
Meal two: Lunch, a grilled cheese sandwich and some celery (These are only examples, you can subsitute)
Snack: A peach or pear
Meal three: Supper, a salad of your choice, and some pasta of your choice.
Then, if you want to exercise as well, you can do 50 sit ups in the morning and before you go to bed. If you wish to go to the gym, they'll most likely have instructors there to help you through the rest of your diet.
