first you want to start eating healthy, meaning no snacks, no junk food, no sweets. next you want to stick to the basic food which is breakfast, lunch and dinner. if you don't eat breakfast start, because breakfast is a big thing when losing weight. a bowl of cereal is fine. next try to get up early and stretch and walk or jog around your block for at least an hour(don't walk alone, try to get a friend to walk with you in the morning.) then start doing some exercises like pilates, this works for me. you can find pilates videos at a Hollywood video store. if you do this everyday, trust me you'll be able to lose weight and inches.
I hope i was helpful!
