is she mad?

Question Posted Monday June 26 2006, 3:21 pm

I really need to know if my one friend is mad at me. Well, I had her and one other friend over to spend the night, and we had sooo much FUN! But she found my diary, and was reading it. I didn't know, but there were some bad things about her that I wrote in the 3rd or 4th grade, and I don't believe it anymore. Well I've noticed a change on her attitude. Like when I talk to her on messenger, when one of us has to leave, we'll usually say ILUSFM (I love you so freaken much) but lately, she hasn't. She is putting like lyl (love ya lots) and other stuff. But I don't know why, but it really hurts my feelings. But I can't tell her that. I hope she isn't mad about my diary, I told her I was sorry, and she said it was fine, and she really did sound like it was fine. But her grandma just died, so maybe she is upset about that, but it doesn't seem like it. I really want things to go back how they use to with my friend, but I'm scared that they wont. What should I do, and why is she mad? Thanks!

I would hope she isn't mad about the diary since it was written so long ago. You should probably ask her if it has upset her and explain again it was written a long time ago when you were basically just a kid.

People also handle grief in different ways. She may be being distant because she feels sad about her grandma. You might want to ask her if there is anything you can do. Maybe get her to talk about her grandma and the good times she may have had with her. It might help cheer her up. :)
