Hi. If it helps, I'm 15/f. Ok, I think I might be gay or bi. Lately, I have found myself wanting to be with a girl more than with a guy. A few weeks ago I was at the waterpark with a friend, and I checked out almost every pretty girl I saw. Now, honestly, I don't know if it is because I might be gay, or because I find myself wanting to be a lot like them. Also, there is this girl at my school who just graduated. We were friends, and she was also gay. We played softball together for 2 years. I found myself wanting to be with her more and more everyday. I have had this 'crush' on her for as long as we have known each other. First, it started out with her looks, but I as I got to know her, it became stronger. I haven't had a real 'crush' on a guy since then. I don't really find any boys that attractive any more, but I find myself checking out girls more and more often. Also, when I watch movies, I check out the girls more than the guys. It's just like the guys are there, and the girls are there for me. It's hard to explain. I mean, I don't really want a boyfriend. As awkward as this sounds, I WANT A GIRLFRIEND! You know, how usually girls dream of doing sexual things with a hot guy they see in a movie or something? I do that with girls!! Someone please tell me your honest opinion.

I must say, a lot of young teenage girls are going bi/gay. And I find that absolutley okay.
It seriously isn't what anyone thinks about it, it's what makes you feel, and if your comfortable for what you're doing.
Though, I have to be honest, MOST guys are jerks, and I can see why girls are finding other girls more attractive and a lot prettier.
But if you ever find the girl you would want to be with and feel more yourself with. Then go for it, but just let your family and close friends know what your choice is.
They should understand that you're old enough to make your own decisions of what makes you happy.

Hi, having crushes and fantasies on the same sex doesn't nessaserally mean that your gay. However you do sound quite strong towards the opposite sex. If you want to start going out with girls and being more attracted to the opposite sex, then thats fine. But if you truely inside feel that way, then it will be OK for you to become a lesbian. Just bare in mind that really it can be quite difficult to attract the same sex to feel the same way as you do. If you do want to be gay, then maybe you could check out some places around you that have groups for people who are gay. Im proud of what you've told us because it can take alot of courage to tell people that your going through this part of your life. Once you decide that you are gay, then give it a bit of time because you could yet change your mind. Just go with what feels right for you. It's your choice. Daniel.

you could really be a lesbian, or you could be going through a phase. although fankly, i think it sounds like more than a phase. but don't be too freaked out. it only matters what makes you happy. if you think you'll enjoy being with a girl, then by all means go find yourself a cute and funny girlfriend! just be aware of the stress ahead that you will have to go through if you really do turn out to be homosectual - having to tell your parents, fasing homophobia from strangers, employers, coworkers, and even your friends. but anyway, sometimes people thinking that they might be homosectual get a partner of their sex, and then realize that it's not really what they want. so maybe you should just try it out, see if it "fits."

Alot of females have been going threw the same thing you are, me being one of them. It could just be phase. Nowadays people are really testing thier sexual boundaries, since being gay and bisexual is excepter more. But the truth is if you find a girl you want to be with, be with her, if you find a guy you want to be with be with him. Dont worry about being gay or not worry about being happy, dont label yourself! Experiment if you feel comfortable with it. The more you do the more you will find out baout your sexuality. Just please...Be Safe and use the proper protection!!!!
