I have had that happen plenty of times. Nothing is wrong with you. Your body is just adjusting with your period. No Worrys in a year or so your period will be on a regular schedule again.

my gf had this same problem. it could be caused by stress or anything diffrent that you are doing. if you are on birth control that could do it also. i dont think its anything to be worried abotu but you can never go wrong with asking a doctor.

A lot of people's body's are different. My friend didn't have a period for a year, but she was a virgin. It happens, and consider this a gift from above! No period? Hell Yea :)

Calm down, there are a few things you needs to consider first:

1. Your age.

If you are just starting, the first year or so, you will be regulating yourself. You may not have a cycle every month. Some girls do and some girls do not.

2. If you have had cycles for a couple of years....

If you have had cycles for a couple of years (2) and your still not regular yet, you need to look at some other areas. Are you overweight, more so than other girls your age. ?

If you do have extra weight is it central like in the belly thighs and upper back area its called central obesity.

If you get lots of headaches or drops in energy levels that are easily fixed by eating, you could have what is termed Insulin Resistance which can cause delayed cycles not always, but can.

There are many other reasons as well you could be skipping periods, if you have been menustrating for at least two years and your cycle has not regulated, tell your Mom, that is something you need to see a doctor about.

If it hasn't been two years since you have started your periods, and you are not experiencing any pain, or discharge, (yellow creamy stuff that smells yeasty) or if you are not in pain when you urinate, then I would wait.

that is if you are NOT having sex. If you are having sex, then you should definately go to the clinic and be seen. Any teen who has started having sex, needs to be seen by a doctor for birth control and most importantly to be tested for sexually transmitted diseases.

Hope this helps..

go to a gynocologist. You may seriously have a hormonal imbalance or something else. Tell your parent or guardian immediately. This is not normal to not have it for such a long amount of time. Get help NOW

if you first got you period within a year, then it's normal. otherwise you should see a doctor. you can talk to a parent first and tell them you're worried. i haven't had mine in two months and this reminds me, i should sign up for an appointment right now.

You should go see a professional as soon as possible, because this could be a really serious condition.
If you take the pill to get shorter and less frequent periods, then this is normal.
Good Luck :]
