Awkward Ex?!

Question Posted Thursday June 22 2006, 10:09 pm

Okay so there is this guy that I really liked. We went out for like 2 and a half months and then I broke up with him, but it was rather mutual. During the school year i had my first two classes with him and it is so wawkard. We never talk and he is cool and I want to hang out with him and everything but we haven't talked in months and everythings so awkward. Hes cool and so are his friends. THis is exactly what I didn't want to happen when we broke up. Any ideas on how to reconnect? Ill rate high for any help.

its hard to go through something like that. i went through something similar only it was with a crush and when he found out everyone made a big deal and we got all awkward around each other and since im so shy and hes so quiet it took like 2 months for things to go back to normal. hopefully it wont take that long, but trust me it will stop feeling so weird after a while. just be nice to him say hey ask him how he is etc. get used to being around him again and everything should be okay again. even if yall arent friends after this, you wont be uncomfortable anymore. good luck!

jsut simply talk to him about it- if he truly cares about you- he'll at least give you the time of day and hear you out. but i cant guarantee that youll get back to being the same kind of buds you were before- but id give it a shot anyways. jsut be very blunt with him about how you feel, and how you would likethings to be with him-but be sure to not hurt his feelings- guys are sensitive too!- hope i helped!

engage conversation. its an easy thing to do. he may not answer at first, but he cant ignore you forever. i mean, it could be something as simple as, 'oh my god, i cant believe how much homework we have!' or something. have fun! =D

Well you can try this approach. You could start talking to his friends and have him come along.

You can always ask a question if you get a class with him or if you see him walk by, accidentally bump into him. Or you could say hi or wave, just for him to look at you.

well find a reason why he should talk to you.like right in front him pretend to trip over somthing them he will help you with your books then you start talking.and if he doesnt start the conversasion then you need to.
