okay i have recently asked a question to see if i was depressed. i told you how i felt and everyone who answered said that i was definetly depressed and that i should get help. but my question is, if your going through depression can you feel fine somedays but most of the time empty. so i guess what im trying to say is when going through depression do you still have some good days?
holahayley56 answered Wednesday June 21 2006, 12:19 pm: Yeah. ( I didn't read your last one but whatever ) I mean, you might just be going through a rough time. If this has been continues, for the past 2 weeks. I suggest you tell a friend, or most deffently a parent/guardian. ESPICALLY if your thinking of suicidal thoughts. We just had a class in this, on like the last week of school. If you'd like, to know if your truly depressed, there was thing that we checked. & if like, you have suicidal thoughts, your down, & then happy the next day. Not eating, trouble foccusing, sudden grade drop, moody. Wanting to go to school, or having a hard time waking up in the moring to go. If you have all of those, or atleast most. Then, I suggest if it continues even just the next couple days, tell a parent/guardian. & see a doctor immediatly. Because, it could also be that the chemicals are uneven in your brain. I really hope I helped. Bye =) [ holahayley56's advice column | Ask holahayley56 A Question ]

Besides postpartum depression, some women also experience depression as part of their hormonal cycle, referred to as premenstrual dysphoric disorder. Across all nations and cultures, it was found that twice as many women experience depression as men. The disparity starts as girls become teens, and it is thought that their concerns about social acceptance and fitting in have a lot to do with it. confusedbabii answered Wednesday June 21 2006, 10:23 am: i think so, but as most people say, i am not a doctor.
i would seriously suggest going to your family doctor. he/she would be a big help in this situation, more than anything else.
blue_sunlyte answered Wednesday June 21 2006, 7:07 am: Whether your depressed or not, everybody has their good and bad days. So i'm sure you will have some good days depending on how you feel. If fact to stop you from being depressed sometimes its better the think about all of the good days you've had, trust me it'll make you feel better sometimes.

Nobody on this sight is a doctor. Nobody here can diagnose you with depression. See your regular doctor if you feel it is interfering with your daily life. :) [ karenR's advice column | Ask karenR A Question ]
