I'm 17 and my ex is 22. We went out when i was 15 and he was 20. My friends all told me this was gross and weird, but i didn't think so
What are your opinions?
Also, is it illegal to go out with someone at that age?.....(in Canada)
Now for my opinion on the subject,i think its wrong. If you were 15 and he was 20 thats too big of an age gap.He could drink in one year and you couldnt even drive yet.Its like a man being with a child and i just think thats disgusting. Now,if you were like say 17 or 18 and he was 20 then id say its not that big of a deal because your closer in age.
Elcee answered Wednesday June 21 2006, 5:30 am: There are only 5 years difference, so no I don't personally think it is gross. Sex at 15 is illegal, but I don't know whether it is illegal in Canada to go out with someone at that age. People can mature at different ages - girls tend to mature earlier than boys - so emotionally you may have been about the same 'age'. I think that if there had been a greater age difference of maybe 10 years, that would be a little more gross. I hope that this has helped a little. [ Elcee's advice column | Ask Elcee A Question ]
