Depression/Panic Attacks

My friend is depressed and has random panic attacks. What causes these and is their anyway to help her get over them?

I'm only answering this because it's an inbox question (sorry it too so long, I forgot this was here). I don't know the answer to this. I'm not a doctor and I don't have the right to answer this question. I'm sure if you did some google searches on panic attacks and depression (using "") then you'll find what you want. Otherwise you should ask a doctor.
