I love the trampoline idea. Yeah you can lose a lot of weight especially if you jump for a substantial amount of time each day. I know from experience. But some other things you can do is if you live near a park you could walk to the park every couple of days and just hang out at the park and get exercise up there, you could also if you have any guy friends you can play basketball with them, or wrestling is always fun. That is what I am doing, because I have a son, a job, and my son's father loves basketball and play fighting so I have actually been getting a lot of exercise by doing those things. Hope I helped!

a couple hundred cals for the trampoline, but seriously that will take hours.

so I think you should join a sport you like....maybe cheer or dance?

no. you might lose like 10 pounds a month if you jump on it for like AN HOUR a day, but 30 days of an hour a day will get boring. maybe you could have a friend do it with you. you wont lose that mucch weight, thou

my question is if you've tried any other excercising activities. everyone is different and have different ideas of fun too. i think the key to all the excercising activities is to have a positve attitdude to what you try. i personally enjoy bike riding, yoga, aerobics, swimming and tennis. and these things can be done with friends. i don't think the trampoline is a very good weight loss activity. since the trampoline is bouncy, you don't put a lot of effort into the jumping since its basically sending you up and down and again. it is excercise, but you won't lose a lot of weight. hope you find something that's right for you. lots of luck

Trampoline is an excellent way to burn calories, and it's also really fun! If you like dancing, that's also a good idea. There's also a few rythm videogames (EyeToy, DDR...) that can get you to lose some weight.

Yes, jumping on a trampoline is a good way to keep your heart rate up, making you lose calories, and thus to lose weight, and it is effective. If you want to see how many calories you'll burn doing it, type in your weight and select 'trampoline' at this website: [Link](Mouse over link to see full location). It's just not as effective as some OTHER things you can do. For example, if you're willing to shell out some money, I highly reccomend turbo jam (go to beachbody.com). It is the best home video you can buy to lose weight. Another way is to go to a gym, if you can afford it, and attend some hip/hip, pilates, yoga classes, and work out in the gym. An inexpensive alternative is to go jogging for about 45 min. every day, (you can even listen to your ipod while doing it if you have one). Some OTHER inexpensive alternatives are swimming (10-30 laps a day), and dancing and jamming out to your favorite songs about an hour a day. Good luck sweetie, and if you need anything else drop one in my inbox. Let me know how it goes too.

Go to this calculator:

[Link](Mouse over link to see full location)

Enter your weight, and scroll down to 'Trampoline' to see how much calories you could lose.

There's also other activities in that list, if you wanted to check out how much calories you could lose if you do other stuff.
