driving tips?
I JUST got my permit the other day--and so today, I BEGGED my mom to let me drive out of our parkway---yeaaaah didn't turn out so well because I had NO FRICKIN' clue what I was doing. She kept yelling at me--and it scared me! I know this sounds incredibly hilarious because I'm laughing about it now--but I was REALLY scared. Anyway, tomorrow I'm driving around tomorrow at driver's ed and I don't want the instructor to think I'm an idiot. I have NO EXPERIENCE whatsoever. Today (with my mom) was the FIRST time in my life I have sat in the driver's seat and put the keys in. I didn't even know how to put the key in until my mom told me. I NOW realize that BRAKES are the most important thing EVEEEEEER. Does anyone have any tips for me tomorrow..so I don't look stupid? PS. I'm 16! :) Thanks!!

Well you're supposed to take drivers ed, so you learn all the responsibiltys of driving, before you get your permit. I dont know where you're from, but there isnt any tips we can give you on here, if you didnt take the drivers ed class, to learn how to drive, you shouldnt be driving.
I guess the only thing I suggest is taking the class, it will help. They teach you everything about driving and being safe.

Oh sorry, I missed that part! But I wouldnt worry about it, in drivers ed they teach you that stuff, I had no idea how to drive at first either, but yeah they teach you things like putting the key in and all that stuff.
And usually you get your permit after you take drivers ed. & the instructor wouldnt think your an idiot, they are there to help you and teach you in the first place. :)

People go to drivers ed when they want to learn, so don't worry about it! You will learn all you need to know from him/her and you won't look stupid because believe me, they've had their share of drivers and there have probably been a ton worse. Just relax and go with a good attitute! You might want to just tell the driver instructor that you are starting from the absolute beginning and have never driven before. Good luck sweetie, and driving isn't that hard to pick up, and it's easy to get the hang of it so as soon as you know it, you'll be driving out of your parkway confidently AND going wherever your heart desires with the car & with your new found driving experience. The drivers ed person already knows you dont have any experience, but tell him again before you actually start driving. He'll start from the beginning, and ask questions if your confused about anything.
Dont worry, everyone starts out really bad! He has a break on his side of the car too, so if you mess up he can save you both from dying. =)

this is funny sorry. But umm you sound clueless about driving. Maybe you should go outside and sit in the car and figure out what all the buttons in the car mean and what they do.Ask your mom anyy questions you have about driving before tomorrow.
