since i have naturally curly hair and i always straighten it..it NEVER stays straight and yes i have layers and i hate them i am trying so hard to grow them out but my hair grows soo slow. its a little past my shoulders or a little longer but my layers always flip in or out and it looks ugly! my hair doesnt scrunch or curl so i have to straighten it and it always seems to get greasy too by the end of the day. what do you think i could do?! is there anything? i dont really have much money to buy anything either...well thanks!
i will rate 5!
Then, flat iron your hair by small sections and by layers. When your done, flip your hair over brush it a few times, then flip it right side up and brush it normally, that helps reduce frizz.

TEENAGExHEARTS answered Sunday June 4 2006, 11:47 am: i understand EXACTALY what you are going through. even though my hair isn't naturally curly. it is naturally poofy bumpy and just plain UGLY! so what i do is i put a straightening serum in BEFORE i straighten it. they really aren't that expensive and can be bought at almost any drugstore (CVS, Walgreens...). what they do is reverse the effects of humidity and reduce frizziness and keep your hair straighter longer. try to buy one that specifically says that it reverses the effects of humidity. i use Aveeda, but that is expensive and i know that there are MILLIONS of products just like it out there but much cheaper. good luck!
