Question Posted Friday June 2 2006, 3:57 pm

this is what i had so far today: (i just got home from school a little while ago)

breakfast: an oatmeal on the go breakfast bar & water (i only have time to eat on the bus lol.)

lunch: salad a fruit roll up and a few crackers

when i got home from school: pretzels and yogurt

i'm obviously gonna eat later, but i was wondering what range of calories should i have a day, and what else should i eat to help thin out my thighs and stomach a little bit (along with excersise)

It's supposly 1000 to 2000. [depending on your age]
I personaly, could never in a miliion years, eat 1000 calories. I don't eat many calories..everything is always like 100. of the most. BUT. I do not think that is thee healthiest way, but thats how I eat. I went on this diet once [I went through that whole I'm fat but I really wasn't phase.] Where, all you eat is protein, & a little vegetable. & no more then like 14 carbs? Check into it. I lost 10 pouds in a week. I also took shorttt walks & drank plenty of water. It says it gurantees 10 pounds in two weeks.. but I did it in 1. so yepp.

Oh.. & exercises? crunches. or whatever.. & running. I like running, it gets everything moving, & its fun to be outside in the fresh air.
Atleat I think so.

I hope I helped. Bye! =)

This all depends on how old you are, and if you are male or female. If you are in your teens (anywhere from 13-17)you should have about 1500-2000 calories a day. (if the goal is weight loss, the closer to 1500, the better) If you are younger than that (12 and under) you shouldn't have more than 1500 calories a day. Anwhere older than 17, 2000 calories is about average. As for the excersising, crunches are good for toning your stomach, and those excersises where you put one leg in the air for about one second, alternating, and repeating are good. At the end of the leg excersise, you should hold both legs in the air for 10 seconds. This might take a while, but rather than making your legs look like twigs, you will hae some muscle. Hope this helps!
