I am 14 years old and I was always good at doing makeup on myself and others. I went to MAC the other day and I got a lesson there and they said that I should get a job with some type of company like MAC or Chanel when I am in highschool, my question is how old do you have to be? What type of test do you have to do? I know you have to be able to apply makeup onto someone.

You have to be 18 to actually apply make-up onto someone. You also have to be 18 to work there. But I'm not sure if it is the same for the MAC or Chanel companies.
Good luck!

It probably varies, so directly ask the place you want to work at...(start with the more expensive stores because you'll get paid more :) ). I think just some basic training- some high schools have regional occupation or career programs where you get lessons in job areas like that...and I think some beauty colleges accept ages 16 and up.
