what sort of clothes for my figure? i need a outfit

Question Posted Monday May 22 2006, 2:20 pm

i need to buy a new outfit ready for this coming saturday. i am going to a party/gathering and i am going shopping for the outfit tomorrow so i need replys As soon as poss.

PARTY: not a suit and tie event but not a old jeans and t-shirt type either.

MY FIGURE: 5ft8, long legs, largeish thighs, wide hips/love handles, broad shoulders, C cup boobs. im not fat.. but im not completely thin ive got a bit of fat on my stomach and hips.

if you search colleen mcloughlin on google --> images.. u will see a picture of her in a bikini, thats very similar to my figure but ive got a slightly shorter top half of body.

So my question is.. What kind of clothes should i go for to suit my figure and make me look slimmer?

I want to avoid silky and clingy material to avoid my hips and stomache buldging over so any suggestions? shoes/jeans/trousers/tops/accessories etcetera.

I RATE HIGH! thanks for any help what so ever! Anything with a bit of help is great but the mroe detailed the better! THANKS xxx

i have about the same body as you do.
and i went to a party like that yesterday.
i wore a pretty casual outfit. but it was still nice.
if you go to JC Pennys. they have these black pants with white pen strips on them there almost like dress pants but there abit baggy. and very cute. then i wore
a cute tight-ish T shirt that said texaco. that i also bought there. i dont know your style though.
but it was cute.
and yes.
oh and that dress the other person sent you was TOO CUTE! you should get it in black

heyy i would luv to help you chica!! First of all i totally agree with skipping clingy matieral -sooo not flattering!! So i went online to my favorite store, barneys new york, and found the most ah-dorable dress! So i bought one for me (its great for chestier girls) and i think this would be perf for u. It has some gathering around the bodice and comes in either blue or cream. Here's the website: [Link](Mouse over link to see full location)
