I've tried singingfish.com, myspace and sometimes purevolume.
I'm not allowed to download from P2P software since it really screwed up my computer... and if my parents knew I installed it again... they'd kill me. Also, my mother said she'd rather buy the music from Ipod music store... but every time I ask her, she avoids doing it.
And I'm not very willing to pay around $20 for a CD when I just want one song off of it.
Sherry answered Sunday May 21 2006, 10:11 pm: If you just want one song from the CD, you dont have to buy the cd...you buy the song you want and its only 99 cents per song you want. Do you have an allowance, or some cash always on you? If so you could go to your local walmart, target, whatever and buy gift certificates from itunes. You use them towards your purchase, theres a section in the music store where you can use gift cards. I have an illegal music downloading program called "Morpheus" and it has done NOTHING to my computer at all! Whats the point in buying an ipod for hundreds of dollars, and paying hundreds of more dollars to put music on the ipod? It's ridiculous. Try to get your parents to let you have morpheus, or get on it for a few days...get all the music you want and erase the program after.
www.download.com -- search "Morpheus".
It's free and easy.
