My Sweet 16
I really want a sweet 16 party, but there's only one problem. I can't think of a theme! The past Sweet 16's i've been have just been at dance clubs with no themes, or with just all girls, i don't want that. I want them to dress the theme, and decorate it to make them feel the theme as well
Please list some theme ideas! I'm cluelesss.

Ive had a few parties.
One was Big Brother 6 themed (im english, and cos you're having a sweet 16 i suppose your american so the big brother would have been different to where you are, anyway ....) and i set up the laundry room so it looked like a diary room and decorated it so you couldnt see the camcorder (except for the screen) and people could go in there and talk.
People dressed up as BB6's housemates. So you could do a theme of your fav tv show.
I also done an A-list theme once where people dressed up as celebs and there was a red carpet.
Some of my mates dressed like the paparazzi and stood outside so when cars pulled up with geusts inside, the paparazzi would open the door of their car and ask them questions with a microphone. I got some of my friebds to be 'fans' and they would stand outside taking pictures of the 'celebs' and getting their autographs on a notepad.
It was great fun. So ou could do that.
I'm going to have a hawaiian themed party in the summer. Everyone has to wear just normal beachwear (bikinis, shorts ... etc.) and there will be drinks in coconut shells and stuff.
Here is a list of other things you could do:
*animals - you could decorate it like a forest or something and people come dressed as their fav animals.
*devils and angels - people come dressed as either devils or angels, and you could have one side of the hall/house decorated all red with cut-out cardboard fire and horns and stuff. The other side could be white and silver with giant halos hanging from the ceiling and cut-out clouds and stuff.
*diamonds - everyone has to dress glam and wear tons of jewellery
*punk - dress like punks and decorate the hall with black, bright pink, green and other bright colours.
*vicars and tarts - guys dress as viars, girls as tarts
*you can also do 50s/60s/70s/80s

At my sweet 16 party (which was a few years ago) we did an "Oscars" theme. Except for they were the "Amys" (not my real name but you get the picture).
I gave out awards to people for "Funniest Friend", "Most Unforgettable" etc. I also had a purple carpet that we bought from a slavage place for like $40. Afterward, we sold it back to another salvage place for $30.
I set up a video camera and my uncles asked people differnt questions (like they do at real awards shows) and later I watched them. I also had pictures taken with everybody as they came down my purple carpet. The awards were different stuff. Like the "Most Unforgettable" person got a propellor hat, and the "Funniest" person got a remote controlled fart machine.
We had the most fun, and it wasnt expensive at all. People wore crazy stuff, like one girl dressed as a flapper and one actually wore her old prom dress.
It was one of the most memorable things ever, and me and my freinds still talk about it. It's been 3 years since then.

You could do a RAINBOW theme! Yay!
Or you could do a Hawaiian theme, an 80's/70's/60's/50's theme, a pink theme, an Indian theme, or a pirate theme.

Summer Fun Party, with bikinis etc. Sweet 16 so celebrate like your 10 with supersoakers and water guns. Or you can be simple like a cocktail party you know tons of fun!
