Okay, My sister Amanda gets really mean....and won't let me shop at "Abercombie" "Hollister" "Pac Sun" or "Zummies",and the only reson is because she shops at hot topic!!
also she won't let me listen to what music i like,
WHAT SHOULD I DO????????????
careless-fun answered Wednesday May 17 2006, 6:53 pm: Don't let her control you. She's your sister not your mom, unless you are in a living situation that she has to play the role of your mom then she has no right to treat you that way. You should let your parents know about it. I'm sure they can do something about it. [ careless-fun's advice column | Ask careless-fun A Question ]
myusername1 answered Wednesday May 17 2006, 4:52 pm: i agree that your sister is treating you unfairly. as long as its ok with your parents/guardians, you should be able to shop where you want and buy what youd like, and listen to what music you want! not follow your sister just because shes making you. you could try asking her why she is acting the way she is and being so controlling, maybe she has a good reason. then ask if she could tone it down a little. if she decides to keep bugging you, make sure you bring it up with your parents. even if she gets mad at you for this, at least your going to be able to get a lot more of what you want. i hope i helped much love&luck =) [ myusername1's advice column | Ask myusername1 A Question ]
rainbowcherrie answered Wednesday May 17 2006, 2:58 pm: I'm exactly like that with my little sister. We have completely different tastes in clothing and I hate it when she plays her music because it's really not my thing.
However, it's not really fair and you need to let her know that. Tell her that she's entitled to dress how she wants and listen to the music she likes but that you're entitled to do the same.
If she still 'doesn't let you' then I suggest you talk to your parents or guardians. Your sister can't control what you like and your parents will be able to stop her from trying. [ rainbowcherrie's advice column | Ask rainbowcherrie A Question ]
