A hymen.. look it up! It breaks when the PENIS pushes against it during sex. And Yes you can bleed the first time you have sex, it is perfectly natural. If you use tampons, it may not bleed. The hymen can be broken just by using a tampon.

it doesn't just break the first time you have sex, but when it breaks you do bleed. a lot of girls' hymens can break when they ride a bike, put a tampon in, etc. it will bleed the first time you have sex if you haven't broken your hymen yett. that's why it's called "popping your cherry"
