loves2shop86 answered Thursday May 11 2006, 11:59 am: hey! well first of all, you can easily fight combination skin by washing you face morning and night, and then MOISTURIZING with a good moisturizer if you don't already! that's probably even more important than washing your face and a lot of people don't do it!
ok so after that, to even out your skin, you may want to dab some concealer on discolored spots, pimples and undereye cirles. i use cover girl and it works reeaaallyy well! deffinitely use a make up sponge to apply it, and apply foundation afterwards. also, buy it in one shade lighter than your foundation! here's what it looks like (you can find it pretty much anywhere):
as far as the foundation, i also use cover girl... it has a blue cap and it's called "clean make up - oil control" deffinitely use a make up sponge, and not your finger to apply this! here's what it looks like:
ok lastly, if you feel like you can still see your undereye circles or a pimple or two, you can dab a tiny bit more of the concealer on TOP of the foundation, let it sit for a few seconds, and then gently blend it in! it might be easier to use your finger to do this, and just kind of press the spot where you put it, instead of gliding your finger over it and spreading it everywhere. and you should finish off with a powder to keep the make up set in place... i find that powders make me look like a ghost, so i use a bronzer (if you're going to use this only put a little bit on and spread it reaallyy well with a big make up brush)! i use physician's formula pearls of perfection and i love it:
lol ok i'm done... sorry i wrote a book but i think this will all deffinitely help to keep your skin from being oily/dry and cover up all the problem areas! :) hope i helped!! [ loves2shop86's advice column | Ask loves2shop86 A Question ]
armyofgummibears answered Thursday May 11 2006, 11:05 am: make sure to wear a good moisturizer that won't clog your pores (and therefore cause acne) under your foundation, because that will help to even out your skin and help stop the dryness. as for a good foundation, try maybelline [ armyofgummibears's advice column | Ask armyofgummibears A Question ]
