what does his romantic message mean?
It was my birthday a couple of days ago. I was at work when I checked my voice mail messgages. I male friend of mine left a really sweet message. He was singing happy birthday in a really romantic voice. Then he said he would be sending me a small gift in the mail ( he lives out of town). None of my other male friends have done that for me? Do you think it sounds like he may like me as more than a friend?

I believe he likes you hell of alot for a guy to call and sing happy birthday to you on your voicemail it either he has alot of love for you or alot of love for you so don't be ashamed to say what you have to say cause once you start telling him what you have to say then he's gonna tell you alot so don't be suprised if he's inlove with you and want you cause not to many guys do that uness they really want you and want to be with you so do what you have to do and get your man before someone elese get him and good luck he sound like a winner

Well all guys are different. Maybe he always goes all out or does something creative for all his friends on their birthdays. I kind of think its too early to tell if he wants to be more than friends or not. I suggest you waiting it out for a little bit and see where everything goes.

It seems like he was trying to impress you and make you feel special. I don't think he would have gone to such an extent if he didn't have some kind of feelings for you.
He could be trying to give you a hint by showing his romantic side.
You should try and 'test' it. Flirt with him and see if he flirts back.
If all else fails, talk to him. If you WANT there to be something more, tell him and see what his response is.

Yes I think he does. In my experience, men are only willing to something like this which could lead to them being very embarrassed if they really like a girl. He's showing how far he is willing to go for you and how much he cares, which is emphasized by the gift in the mail. I think a thank you outing is in order :)
