I was wondering if theres something wrong with me right now.
- For the last two weeks, I've been very agitated, little things push me over the edge and everythings been bothering me. Usually I'm a happy person, and easy going but latley small things like having to repeat myself, running outa something like shampoo, people tapping there pencils, people singing to songs randomly, certain words+songs, and even people who talk to me, I get very angry with them, and just like they bother me, its like, why won't they just stop.
I'm not depressed or anything, its just thats small things are agrivating me alot more then usual in the past few weeks and my friends and family have noticed it too, is something wrong!?

When we feel that we haven't got a proper grip on life, little things that never bothered us before can suddenly become massive problems and cause us to react with anger. Triggers could be exams, family, friends, boyfriend problems etc.
If it definitely is not stress, it could be hormones. When they kick in, everything seems to go haywire for a while and tempers go out of the window, along with anything else within reach. They settle down in time but it takes a while to adjust.
If none of the above apply, perhaps a trip to the doctors would be a good idea? Then your mind could be put at rest on the reason for the change.
Good luck. [ isis's advice column | Ask isis A Question ]

If it has been going on a few weeks, it's not likely due to PMS. If you know you are going through a stressful time in your life, work it out, take care of yourself and you will make it through.
However, if you can't think of any particular reason to be irritable you need to see your Dr. A physical illness should be ruled out first, then the Dr can look for less obvious causes. There are medications that can help, and if you don't want to take medications, alternative therapies that induce relaxation would be your next line of defense. If you haven't had your period yet, it could be a sign that you're about to get it. From what you've explained to me, it's signs of moodswings. But if you've already had your period for awhile and it hasn't happened before, then I suggest you see a doctor. I'm 99.9% you're fine, but just to be on the safe side, I'd talk to your doctor.
If you know it has nothing to do with your period, maybe you're not getting enough sleep? A lot of my friends who don't sleep that much get really crabby. Or maybe you've just really been stressed out lately. Have you had a lot of tests and projects to work on in school? Have you been getting into fights with your friends? Or have you been having any problems with family members? If you answered yes to any of those questions, it could just be because you're stressed out. If you're a teenager, teenagers get really stressed out because of boyfriends, gossip, and rumors.
So to wrap it up, your moodswings could either be that your period is coming, you're not getting enough sleep, or you're just really stressed out lately. If you're really scared about it, you can always contact the doctor. I'm almost positive nothing is wrong with you though! :) [ orphans's advice column | Ask orphans A Question ]
