Being Creative.

Question Posted Tuesday May 2 2006, 6:53 pm

I have a question, and i don't know if it can be answered. But i will give it a shot.

Is there anyway possible to make yourself most creative? I like to write, but i find myself not being about to, it's like i can't come up with anything good. I try really hard, and nothing sounds right, it seems to be a bunch of just random thoughts put in one, with no thought. I really would like writing a lot better if i was more creative. How can i make myself be more open to new ideas that would help me be more creative, and more "neatly" with the way i write?

Thanks in advance <3

You just have to write a lot! And if you get into a writer's block where you can't think of anything to write, then force yourself to just sit down and write continuously for ten minutes, without letting the pen stop writing words. It's hard at first, but it works.

try this whatever it is you like to right bios autobios etc...
try this if you like movies then you'll like this idea say you like the terminator, star wars, and lord of the rings... Yes i know they all have a series to them but think outside the box put them together and make a book with a little bit of all three but not exactly the same as what is in the movies... i made a short story including them:
a lot of my classmates loved it try it and get back to me

Writing comes naturally. Just jot your ideas down on scrap paper and the words should just flow. Just really dedicate yourself on the topic your writing about it. You can't really make yourself more creative. :)

Well, I would join an art club or take an art class. This may boost your creativity. Another thing is you can take a Creative Writing class. Oh, and with the mixed up thoughts, write them all down in a notebook or something and then one day look at them and try to piece together a main storyline and then go from there. I don't know if I really helped you, but I gave it my best :)

hey! well i dont know of how much help this will be, but writing is an art... it's not something that can be forced. so even though you may want to sit down and write a song or a poem, you can't force it. if you have nothing on your mind, then chances are there will be nothing to write about. wait until a problem arises or something is on your mind. then get a notebook, and sit down and just write! don't think about what you're writing, don't go back and re read and fix things... just keep writing. when you are completely finished, you can go back and fix things. if what you wrote wasn't in the form you want, then you can use the feelins and emotions that you see to write something in a different form!

it's no surprise that most of the songs out there are about love or friendship or basically some kind of feeling or emotion... no one can just sit down and write about nothing. you have to have something on your mind, and then let it all out and put it on paper! :) hope that helped!
