Room Ideas!!

Question Posted Saturday April 29 2006, 4:52 pm

I'm moving into a rental house and I was thinking I could REDECORATE!!! It sounds like fun but then its hard work. I dont know what style to choose but I dont want like "French, tropical, zebra print" or anything like that. What are some ways to redecorate? (In rental houses you cant paint the walls) Or a system that I could use for redecorating and moving things? Thanks for your creativity!!!!

you should put lots of posters and pictures and art on your walls. so they won't look so poopie. just get bright stuff and put it in your house. make it bright and very happy. because people don't want to walk into a sad looking house.

I remember my first rental. I was so careful about what I did to the walls and the floors. I did eventually invest in some of that putty, looks kind of like playdoh. They sell it at walmart around the stationary/office supplies. I think it comes in white now. It holds pretty well and is great for pictures, posters, or any other light weight decoration.

Also you want to make sure the furniture is arranged to where you have enough room to walk. If placed just right it will open up the living room.

For the kitchen you could make your own magnets to go along with any theme you are thinking of. Stick them on the fridge, dishwasher or any other area they will stick.

Sounds like you are gonna have alot of work ahead of you but it also sounds like you are up for the task. I am excited for you.

Good luck
