sore throat
i have a really bad sore throat. it hurts a lot & when i swallow i can't stand it. my voice isn't gone, but its croaky sort've. when i breathe in er make my neck move a certain way, i get this really bad chest pain, sort've by my bra line in the center of my chest. i have asthma & that stinging feeling you get when you have it, it's almost like that but a bit different. i know it isn't asthma, but i'm not quite sure what it is. any ideas??

Well, since no one can diagnose you on a message board,I hope you really do go to the Doctor. The first person to answer gave you the right advice.
Since you have asthma, each time you get a pharyngeal/throat infection your risk of getting pneumonia or bronchitis may be greater than other people..that may be why it feels almost like your asthma but different.

it could be simply tonsilitis. i had it a few times so i had my tonsils removed. it was a simple procedure. but ask your doctoer, you dont have to have surgery, antibiotics will do.

I have the exact same thing! I just went to the Dr. and he said it was strep throat. I got an antibiotic called amoxacillin. It works, and quick. I got over it in about a day.. Hit the doctor's then see what they say.

i think it is just sinus drainage, but it could be a bacterial infection you should talk to your doctor

I would talk to your doctor. It could be a reaction from a medication you are taking. Or it could be some other sort of infection. Definitely call your doctor or find and urgent care.
